Competitive gymnastics equipment

Competitive gymnastics men use 6 types of equipment, and women use 4 types of equipment:

Men's equipment: floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vaulting horse, parallel bars, and horizontal bar.

Women's equipment: vaulting horse, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise (equipment specifications are different from those of men's floor exercise venues).

Artistic gymnastics equipment

The equipment used in artistic gymnastics includes five types: rope, hoop, ball, stick, and ribbon:

Rope: The length is adjusted according to the height of the athlete. It is usually appropriate to make the length of the double-folded rope the same as the height from the armpit to the ground.

Hoop: The inner diameter is 800-900 mm (adult group/youth group A), and the weight of the bare hoop is at least 300 grams; the inner diameter of the youth group is 700-900 mm, and the weight of the bare hoop is at least 260 grams.

Ball: The diameter is 180-200 mm and the weight is at least 400 grams.

Rod: Length 400-500 mm, bare rod weight at least 150 g, maximum diameter of rod end 30 mm.

Belt: Band width 40-60 mm, double-layer belt length 1000 mm ± 100 mm, belt stick length 500-600 mm, maximum diameter of belt stick at the thickest part 10 mm.
